Production Process of Relief Stereo Type Aluminum Foil

Relief stereo type aluminum foil is the aluminum foil for extruding embossing pattern. The embossing aluminum foil is plain aluminum foil, whose thickness is less than 0.05mm(see foil production) or coated paper aluminum foil, whose thickness is below 0.012mm (see composite aluminum foil), and also painted or printed aluminum foil (see coated aluminum foil).

The aluminum foil must be pre annealed and softened before embossing. It will be possible there are little waves, rollers, wrinkles, and other defects on the aluminum foil.

The pattern on the aluminum foil is pressed by a pair of rotating rollers. A roller is a steel roller engraved pattern. the other is the large diameter roller or rubber roller which features great toughness and elasticity. In order to make the pattern on the Relief stereo type aluminum foil clear, the paper roll should be flexible and moderate. Before the embossing, the paper roll should be properly moistened. The pressure should be compressed from light pressure to heavy pressure and run 10 ~ 20min.
